The simple beauty of Standing Seam cannot be underestimated, with this installation from Advanced Metal Cladding, fabricated by Architectural Cladding Suppliers.
This private residence in Middle Park has a memorable feel thanks to the extensive use of Standing Seam metal cladding curved and combined perfectly with surrounding materials.
For this project, Standing Seam shines as the hero of the facade installed to add something very special to this build.
According to Michael Kumschick from Advanced Metal Cladding, Standing Seam finished in COLORBOND® steel Matt Monument® delivered an inspired aesthetic for all parties involved. The builder Ryder Building Group collaborated with Advanced Metal Cladding and JAM Architects on the impressive finish to ensure the metal cladding was perfectly suited to its surrounds.
Ryder Building Group was eager to bring this exterior to life and deliver a stunning result. As seen below this installation of curved Standing Seam is a real head-turner.
Michael adds this install was intricate and required careful planning in both fabrication and installation. “We ensured the substructure worked for this installation and was done right to then install the curved Standing Seam panels all straight and plumbed so it continues as one radius curve. Standing Seam lends itself really well to curved applications and how you can then combine it with surrounding materials like timber and slate.”
This was an exceptional achievement by Advanced Metal Cladding and a high-end residential project the ACS team was proud to supply and fabricate.

Standing Seam is one of the most versatile cladding systems available and can be installed across numerous applications, from roofing to façades, soffits, and even on internal walls as an architectural feature finish. The installation of standing seam requires the protruding seams of two panels to overlap each other.
Each panel is secured with concealed clips and then mechanically crimped together with the use of specialised tools. The concealed fixing method of the panels answers the need of those seeking a clean look and luxurious finish to their building project.
