This new beauty in South Yarra has a monumental feel thanks to the extensive use of Flatlock metal cladding combined with concrete and timber.
For this project, Flatlock panels were installed to bring this spectacular high-end residence to life.
According to Jason Long from CladCraft, Flatlock made in “Black Grey” Prefa Aluminium delivered something very special for all parties involved. The architect NTF Architecture and builder Sinjen collaborated with CladCraft and Architectural Cladding Suppliers on the impressive finish to ensure the metal cladding was perfectly suited to its surrounds.
Sinjen was eager to bring this exterior to life and provide the owner with a stunning result. As seen below the combination of different materials, textures and colours work perfectly.

Jason Long adds, “This install was detailed and required careful planning in both fabrication and installation. Calculating the exact spacing of the Flatlock panels was challenging, but we got there in the end and the result speaks for itself. The “Black Grey” Prefa Aluminium finish was soft, lightweight, and easy to work with.”
