It’s hard to pick the most memorable moment on The Block this year. One thing we do know is our Snaplock metal cladding and roofing products installed by LCS Plumbing were on display for the all to adore.
We were super excited to see our COLORBOND® steel Matt Snaplock metal cladding and roofing products play a leading role in The Block this year.
To be able to stand back and admire the five beautifully-finished homes on The Block was very rewarding for our team, LCS Plumbing, and COLORBOND® steel.
Snaplock delivered a unique aesthetic and architectural style for our Blockheads this year, working perfectly with surrounding building materials and the streetscape of the cul-de-sac in Hampton, Melbourne.

Snaplock finished with varying colours of COLORBOND® steel Matt plays an influential role on The Block 2021.
As clearly shown in this season of The Block – metal cladding and roofing products can make a bold architectural statement. With each striking facade and roof, the scene was set for another amazing series.

Ronnie and Georgia – COLORBOND® steel roof and wall cladding and garage door in the colour Surfmist® Matt in a Snaplock profile with a 325mm width pan with a 25mm rib height.
Mitch and Mark – COLORBOND® steel roof in the colour Basalt® Matt in a Snaplock profile in a 290mm pan width with a 38mm rib height
Tanya and Vito – COLORBOND® steel roof in the colour Shale Grey™ Matt in a Snaplock profile in a 290mm pan width with a 38mm rib height. And COLORBOND® steel wall cladding on 3 external walls in the colour Basalt® Matt in a Snaplock profile in a 290mm pan width with a 38mm rib height.
Josh and Luke – COLORBOND® steel roof in the colour Monument® Matt in a Snaplock profile in a 290mm pan width with a 38mm rib height. Two flat roofs on either side: Snaplock profile in a 290 mm pan width and 38mm rib height.
Kirsty and Jesse – COLORBOND® steel roof in the colour Monument® Matt in a Snaplock profile in a 190mm pan with a 25mm seam height.
Snaplock finished with COLORBOND® steel Matt – fabricated by Architectural Cladding Suppliers and installed by LCS Plumbing has been used to great effect as shown below:
