The new PICAC (Plumbing Industry Climate Action Centre) is a 5 Star Green Star rated building and is a working example of innovative design and sustainable plumbing. This was a special project for our installers Close Commercial Services.
The energy-efficient design maximises northern exposure to both the ground and first floor. The design incorporates a combination COLORBOND® steel – Copper Penny®, Surfmist®, Windspray® and Night Sky® Interlocking Panels fabricated by Architectural Cladding Suppliers.
The facility will comprise: 120 Seat General Auditorium, 12 Training Rooms, Confined Spaces & Roof Access Training, Administration Offices, and World leading facilities in welding and gas fitting. This uniquely positions PICAC to proactively address industry training needs early in the life-cycle of new plumbing products and technologies.
