Fed Square Digital Facade Project Using Rheinzink® Mill Finish Flatlock

Posted inOur News

Fed Square is improving its digital experience for visitors with state-of-the-art, integrated multi-screen platforms, a significant Wi-Fi upgrade and a program of interactive, user-generated digital content. The big screen, which is now at the end of its life, will be replaced with a wall of interactive LED panels that complement the form of Fed Square’ s unique architecture.

At the centre is a 5k resolution, high-definition event screen with a 6mm pitch, which ensures high-quality display from a distance. The Digital Experience Initiative is a $5.4 million investment funded by Fed Square Pty Ltd. It will be driven by a program of user-generated content, commissioned artwork and community engagement, whilst retaining the capacity to broadcast live sport, current affairs and films.

Architectural Cladding Suppliers manufactured and supplied Rheinzink® Bright Rolled Mill Finish Flatlock Panels – installed by Total Comfort Plumbing.

Rheinzink® is titanium zinc, a natural material that ages over time, is maintenance free and 100% recyclable. It provides a versatile façade medium that satisfies exacting technical, aesthetic and economic aspects of architectural design. Perfect for any roofing or metal wall cladding applications and is suitable for classic, heritage and contemporary styles.

This material worked perfectly for this project providing a timeless beauty. Being completely maintenance-free the Rheinzink® Bright Rolled Mill Finish Flatlock Panels will offer a reliable facade for generations. A classic blue-grey appearance will be developed due to the formation of the patina – which will protect the metal from corrosion.
