COLORBOND® steel Matt Finish
COLORBOND® steel’s Matt finish offers a subtle look – available in neutral tones. This allows architects, designers, builders and installers to make an individual design statement.
This contemporary finish offers a sophisticated twist, alongside our existing COLORBOND® steel range. You can now select softer, more neutral colours adding a special design touch to the appearance of your building projects.
The COLORBOND® steel colours include: Surfmist®, Shale Grey™, Dune®, Basalt®, and Monument® to help make your individual design statement.
Tested for over a decade, COLORBOND® steel Matt has been manufactured to withstand the harsh Australian environment, from the coast to dry rural conditions. The result is a metal cladding and roofing finish that maintains its Matt finish, looking even better for longer.
The key benefits of COLORBOND® steel

- BlueScope metallic coating with Activate® to deliver resistance to corrosion.
- Specially designed top coat with exterior grade paint is baked on to the product to help to ensure any resistance to flaking, blistering or chipping in diverse weather conditions or environments. This also helps to ensure the finish retains its look and beautiful subtle finish for longer.

Every colour (except Night Sky®) in the standard COLORBOND® steel range features Thermatech® solar reflectance technology. Thermatech® technology is designed to reflect more of the sun’s heat on hot days. This means less dependence on air-conditioning, plus reduced heat stress for your roof.
